Nick is 50 and went to the drs a few weeks ago for a check up. The dr suggested he get a colonoscopy (spelling?). He made the appointment for the consultation and is having it done on Friday. I was all like WTH why do you need to get one done if your not having problems. I hate unnecessary procedures that involve going to the hospital and having anthesia (spelling?). I guess at or after 50 it is necessary. Sidenote...I won't get one done at 50 or after 50 unless I am having problems LOL. Thursday night we have a leadership banquet for the boys that he will not be able to go to because he has to start drinking this stuff at like 6:00 for the procedure. From what I understand, he will not be leaving the bathroom for the rest of the night. Instead I am gonna take Colleen with me because I already bought 2 tickets. I won't go alone because of the cheerleading banquet with the X and his wife there. I always get nervous when anyone has things like this done because I always worry that something unexpected will happen. I don't know why I am a freak like that but that is just the way I am wired. I am sure that everything will go fine I mean they do these things all the time. Say a special prayer for Nick on Friday.
The weather here has changed again only not for the better. We went from 85 to 60. Oh well, I will take it as long as there is no more snow. I hope everyone has a great day!

Yeah, this is one of those routine things after 50. I am a terrible patient, so I will probably put this off as long as possible. He will definitely spend a LOT of time in the bathroom the night before! After working in a hospital for many years, I can tell you most come back totally fine. Will send some prayers & positive thoughts your way!!
