A good day!

Nick and I had an eye appointment last night at 5:20. I was on the last day of my 2 week contacts and had no more. There was a dance at the high school last night so the kids were going and I knew they needed to eat before they went at 7:00. I decided to try something I have never done. I got money out of the ATM on my way home and told them they each get $10.00 to eat. Well, Sarah needed to be picked up at 5:30 from her therapy for her knee so I was thinking Dom could pick her up, get them something to eat and drive them to the dance. I don't like to rely on Dom to do stuff like this but I figured it was worth a try. There is usually a fight between him and Marco about something. Nick and I left for the eye appointment and I kept watching my phone thinking ok one of them is gonna call and be fighting over something. It.never.happened. They did great! I talk like they are little LOL. Nick and I were at Lenscrafters for like 2 1/2 hours. Nick got contacts for the first time and I got a new prescription for my contacts. I have been in bi-focals since I was 39 and my prescription usually gets worse every year. This year it got better! I was shocked. Nicks got better too. So today I have been trying to get used to this new script.

I was thinking that Dom and I don't spend enough time together so we went to breakfast this morning and talked. It was great! We also did some shopping. I have been wanting a bike for my birthday. The bike store that I was looking at was having a sale today so we headed over there. I road the bike again and it fits me perfectly. I just can't bring myself to spend $429.o0 for a bike. I know it doesn't seem like alot but to me it does. I told the guy to put it on hold for me until tomorrow. I don't think I am gonna go buy it tho. Dom was teasing me because he said it was a nerdy bike. I told him I was gonna wear a helmet when I rode it too and he was cracking up. I said think what you want. I enjoyed the time we spent together. He is now cleaning his room because it is a total pigstie. I told him he could not go out anywhere until his room is clean. He has been in there for about 4 hours so far and he is not even close to being done. Looks like he will be staying home tonight LOL.

Nick and I are watching Michigan State play in the final four. It is here in Detroit. I wanted to go down there today but on the news it just looked too crowded. I am not a Spartans fan but I hope they win. It will be neat because they are playing in Detroit. If they win tonight the final game will be Monday.

It was a busy day and I am exhausted. I am gonna go relax and watch the game. I hope everyone enjoys their weekend.
