This weekend was amazing! I enjoyed spending time with Nick. Saturday night we went out with our friends to the Tiki bar but ended up having to sit inside because it was raining. It didn't seem to matter tho because we had a blast. My friends ended up paying for everything too for my birthday. That was wonderful! Yesterday we went to church, to the grocery store and then had Colleen and her family over for dinner. Our other friend Marsha ended up coming over on the spur of the moment so it was just great! I went to bed last night so peaceful and woke up the same way. The weather has been beautiful 85 today!
That is how the weekend went.... then this morning at work I checked my email and got Marco and Sarah's progress reports. Sarah has a D and Marco has 2 D's!!!! WTH they normally get A's and B's. I know they have been pretty busy with the weather being nice and all but I will not tolerate them letting their school work go. I did the only thing I know to do and grounded them until I get their next report card. Seems so easy but I always feel so terrible when I do it. Of course, they were pissed and the minute they found out via text LOL they started texting back and calling work and so the hell begins! I love my kids but damn can they stress you out. I am working so hard to try to not let this ruin the mood I have been in but it is not easy. These kids sometimes run my life and I hate it! I am sure anyone with teenagers knows what I am talking about it.
So back to the weekend.... is where I am keeping my thoughts! That is how I am rolling today LOL. Just trying to keep it real people!

I know! My kids totally run my life. It can get out of hand, and then I have been dealing with my oldest with depression, and we have grade issues there as well. I am seeing improvements in his mood but not the grades. It is hard. As far as my blogging, my personal computer is in the shop, the kids must have picked up a virus at some game site... Gah. Another roadblock!
It can get out of hand! I emailed Marco's teacher this morning because he claims he is doing his best...we shall see what the teacher says. I am glad his moods are getting better! We went thru like 3 different computers at my house and took them in several times to get fixed from a virus. Finally, we have our own laptop and the kids got theirs LOL. I like it that way then they can't break mine. In fact, Marco's is in the shop now being fixed and it was still covered under warranty. Kid I tell ya!!!!! Have a good day!
