Fireworks

I am not sure if I mentioned it before but the 4th of July is my favorite holiday!!! I love that it is summer, BBQ's and hot nights! Every year I find all the firework displays in our area and I make Nick take me to all of them. One year we went to like 9 of them. I am a freak about them. My kids enjoy them alot too and I think Nick does now. When we made our wedding date it was in the driveway of my house while the whole neighborhood was lit up with fireworks. I said I want to get married around the 4th of July! Tomorrow is our anniversary! June 26th we will be married 4 years and I love him more now than I did then. We understand each other more now than we did then and the list goes on... Nick and I went to the Detroit Fireworks last night and it was amazing! We sat right on the river and it was a perfect hot summer night. We met some people that ended up living right by us and just enjoyed each others company. It was great! We are going to fireworks again tomorrow night and I think like 4 next week. Like I said I love them!

Nick was playing a joke on my niece the other night and said I love your aunt so much that I decided to make the city have fireworks for her on our anniversary. She said Really? He said yes. She believe him and I started laughing and said OMG are you serious? She also said the bad part about that joke was if her husband ever told her that she would believe him LOL. That made me crack up.

We are having a heat wave here in Michigan it has been in the mid 90's with like 70 percent humidity and my air conditioner broke :( I had a guy come look at it yesterday and at first he said it was the freeon then he said we needed a whole new unit. This was not in our budget. We were supposed to go to Michigan Adventures next week but now that is put on hold. Needless to say we are sweating it out it was 94 in our house last night. I was sweating just laying in bed. They are gonna fix it Monday. I wish they could come today to do it but no such luck. Nick told me that he bought me an air conditioner for our anniversary. I am happy with that even tho I told him no household appliances for gifts this one is ok.
