Surprise!

I got home yesterday to find out that our basement flooded again! This time it was worse than the night before. Nick was down there for a few hours getting it all cleaned up. The sump pump got stuck again so I think he is going to replace it today. Our area is horrible for basements everyone on my street has been having problems. SUCKS!!!

When I got home yesterday I was watching the news to see what they had to say about Michael Jackson. I am so sad that he died! Our local news came on and said that Morris Day and the Time were gonna be at the fireworks that we were going to! Nick and I love Morris Day and the Time a great group from a great era. We watched the fireworks and then headed over to the stage where they were playing. They played an hour and it was free to everyone. We had a great time. I was trying to teach my kids the dance and they thought I was out of my mind. Everyone was doinng the bird he even brought people on stage to dance with him. He played Gigilos Get Lonely Too OMG that used to be one of my favorite songs of his. They had big screens set up in case you were not close enough to see him. We could see him but I was still looking at the big screen. It was great!!!!! The fireworks were awesome too. Every year they feel like they are right on top of us.

I got a great anniversary card from Nick. I will take a picture of it and post it on here because it was that cute. He drew a little message on it for me. I got him a card and some lottery tickets. We didn't exchange gifts because we have to buy an air conditioner LOL. It was great just spending time with him!

Colleen just called me crying. Her mom was put in the hospital yesterday and they called Colleen last night at 2:30 a.m. and told her she needed to come to the hospital. Her mom's heart stop and they had to revive her and she is now on a ventilator. They are running more tests but she is unconscieous (spelling?). They will know more after the tests. Please say a prayer for her and her family. I want to be there with her but I am at work until 1:00. I will head up there after work. I am very sad for her!
