Great Lakes State

I have lived in Michigan my whole life. I hate the winters they suck! The summers and falls in Michigan are amazing. Summer here is so beautiful! I only live 10 minutes from one of the Great Lakes and it is great. In fact, where we live there are Lakes and rivers running off the lakes. Three doors down from my house is one of the branches of the Clinton River which runs off of Lake St. Clair. The state itself has so much to offer all year round but I am not so much a winter person. We have ski lodges, great snow mobiling and of course hunting. In the summer tho there is just nothing like it. In Kid Rock's song he mentions the summers in Michigan and I agree! I sat outside last night with friends on my deck and I was just loving it. I could sit out there all night. However, I am working today and Nick is out on the boat with his brother fishing :( I am so jealous. He just called to let me know what they are doing. I said are you trying to rub it in and he said no. Yeah right!

I called in sick yesterday at work and I next to never do that. I started getting a tooth ache Thursday during the day. Thursday night I was thinking crap I better go to the dentist tomorrow. So knowing if I came to work I would not go because we would get busy and I wouldn't have time. I went to the dentist yesterday for one tooth that was hurting and it was just the gum around the tooth that was aggravated. The dentist decided to do a full set of Xrays and one tooth that was not even hurting has an abcess on it. I couldn't believe it because the tooth does not even have a cavity. I need a root canal in that tooth now and I am nervous because it is one of the front ones and they want to crown it. I just hopes it looks good after.

Tomorrow is the big day for Dom. I am getting my kleenex ready because I know it will be an emotional day. I am soooo proud tho!!!
